Put your learning into practice! In this full-day workshop, you will learn how to design, implement, and maintain a low-impact development project at home. You will also learn how to:
Check water flow, soil, and sunlight to guide landscaping and garden design decisions
Select native plants for your yard
Effectively collect rainwater, use rain gardens, and create permeable pavement
Join us to hear from local ecologists, landscape designers, and homeowners who have designed their own native landscapes. We will end the day with small group discussions with the experts to address your specific garden designs. Catered lunch is included!
