Halton Overdose Awareness Day
VENUE: Central Park Bandshell, 2311 New St., Burlington, ON Canada

Halton’s Overdose Awareness Day community event is designed to bring together community members, service providers, and partner organizations to raise awareness, reduce stigma, honour those affected by substance use and overdose, and promote access to supports and resources.
As part of the event, we are hosting a Mental Health and Addictions Community Fair opportunity for residents to connect, learn information about the valuable supports available throughout our community.
This event will feature:
A collaborative community art project
Mental health and addictions resource booths
Lawn games and family-friendly activities
Food trucks
A story walk of those impacted by overdose
Opportunities for community connection, education, and awareness

Have an upcoming event in Burlington, Ontario that you would like to promote? Submit it for free and we will add your event to our calendar. Events include local concerts, festivals, theatre, live music, sporting events, outdoor attractions, tours, and culinary events.
Preference will be given to events that drive tourism, are hosted by a tourism partner, or provide experiences for residents and visitors. Community events must be within Burlington/Halton and are free to attend or hosted by a not-for-profit.
