Live & Local: Songwriter’s Circle & Open Mic

Experience the best of local music in this intimate and welcoming evening that brings together storytelling, song, and community. Hosted by Hamilton-based singer-songwriter Chelsea McWilliams of Red Hill Valleys, Live & Local begins with a curated songwriters’ circle featuring talented regional artists sharing original songs, the stories behind them, and the inspirations that shape their work.
Then, the stage opens up. Emerging and amateur performers are invited to step into the spotlight during an open mic session, with the opportunity to share their music in a supportive, collaborative environment. Select participants may even receive feedback and insight from the featured artists, creating a unique mentorship experience.
From seasoned songwriters to first-time performers, Live & Local is a celebration of the creativity thriving in our region. Whether you’re performing or simply soaking it all in, this is where local voices are heard, supported, and celebrated.
