Celebrate International Day of Women & Girls in Science and International Women’s Day with our STEMinist Speaker Series at Joseph Brant Museum. The series will highlight the experiences and career pathways of women working in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Speakers will also share challenges, successes, and advice with those interested in STEM fields. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the special exhibition Iron Willed: Women in STEM prior to the presentation, followed by a screening of the Canadian film Ms. Scientist.
Ticket includes admission to Joseph Brant Museum, speaker presentation and question period (1hr), Ms. Scientist film screening (45min), light beverages and popcorn. The Museum will open 1-hour prior to the presentation for those who wish to view the exhibits.
