Morning
- 8:30 a.m. – VRPRO Canada Day 5K Run (pre-registration required)
- Noon – Free Yoga in the Park (Compass near the West Lawn)

- 2:20 p.m. – Nationwide Drumming Celebration (Teen Tour Band Drum Line)

Getting There
Burlington’s public transit delivers clean, comfortable service across the city, so you can arrive on time. On Canada Day, getting to Spencer Smith Park is easier than ever. Here’s what you need to know:
- On Tuesday, July 1st, Burlington Transit operates on its regular Saturday schedule. Routes 2, 3, 4, and 10 all stop near Spencer Smith Park. Seniors, youth and children ride free with a PRESTO card.
- Hop on the complimentary Canada Day shuttle at Burlington Centre (Old Navy entrance). It loops to Downtown Burlington continuously from noon until 11:30 p.m.
- If you need accessible parking, head straight to the playground lot next to Spencer’s at the Waterfront. As it is being reserved for accessible parking only. For all other parking options, check the City’s downtown parking map.
