Opening February 1, 2026 at Crawford Lake Conservation Area, Spirit of the Lake is a new Indigenous art exhibition inspired by the site’s rare meromictic lake and the stories it holds. The exhibit features work by four Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island, along with an interactive holographic experience where visitors can learn from Elders, scientists, and Conservation Halton staff about what makes this place so special.
