Burlington Butter Tart Festival
Burlington is about to get a whole lot sweeter. On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Burlington Butter Tart Festival will take over Burlington Centre (777 Guelph Line), bringing Ontario’s favourite indulgence to the heart of the city.
The festival celebrates Canada’s iconic butter tart with dozens of bakers and vendors from across the province. From classic runny-centre tarts to inventive new flavours, festival-goers can taste, shop, and vote for their favourites in the People’s Choice Awards.
“This festival is all about community, tradition, and the joy of one of Canada’s most beloved desserts,” said Helen Prucha of Gottaluv Butter Tarts. “We’re thrilled to welcome families, friends, and food lovers to Burlington Centre for a day of sweetness and fun.”
Event Highlights:
- Butter Tart Market — sample and purchase tarts from Ontario’s best bakers.
- Local Vendors & Artisans — shop local while enjoying the festival atmosphere.
Admission is free, and everyone is invited to join in the celebration. Free parking is available onsite at Burlington Centre.
