Burlington Centre Lions Farmers Market
The Burlington Centre Lions Farmers Market is open Wed, Fri & Sat 8am–2pm from May 21–Oct 25. An assortment of vendors with fresh produce, baked goods, meat, cheese, flowers & more. Located in the Burlington Centre parking lot (Prospect Street side). Free parking onsite. Accessible by Burlington Transit route no. 4, 1, 3 or directly off the Centennial Bikeway. Operated by the Burlington Lions Club for 67 years!
Centro Farmers Market
The Centro Farmer’s Market is open Sundays 9-11 am, located in Downtown Burlington, in the parking lot behind 437 Brant Street (Centro Garden). Food-focused farmers market where you can shop direct from the maker. Free parking all day in the waterfront parkade at 414 Locust St. just 2-3 blocks away. Easily accessible by bike or foot. Make a day of it and visit other local businesses within easy walking distance of Lake Ontario, restaurants and hotels.
Aldershot Farmers Market
The Aldershot Farmers Market is a boutique market of farmers and artisans is open Sundays 9am-1pm from June 1–Sept 28. Located at 1016 Waterdown Road @ Plains Road, it’s fast becoming a local favourite. Be sure to check out their $6 Sunday Classic Breakfast Specials! Limited parking onsite, but accessible by Burlington Transit route no. 4 or located directly off the new Plains Road on-road bike lane.
Backed By Bees
Backed By Bees is a hidden gem in Burlington’s rural north end that blends sustainability, science, and sweet treats. This working farm is home to an innovative honeybee rescue program and a small-batch meadery, where you can sip on unique craft beverages made on-site. Visitors can enjoy honey tastings, browse local goods, or learn about pollinators through hands-on tours and experiences. Located at 6214 Appleby Line, it’s a scenic 15-minute drive from downtown Burlington and is best accessed by car.
